Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a Montreal move cost?
It depends on distance, volume and the services you choose. Local moves are billed by the hour; long-distance moves are quoted based on your inventory or weight, distance and additional services. Our published rates are on the pricing page.
Do you offer packing services?
Yes: full or partial packing, plus the boxes and supplies. Fragile and valuable pieces can be crated.
Can you handle long-distance moves?
Yes. As a United Van Lines member we move across Quebec and Ontario, between provinces, and internationally.
Do you provide storage in Montreal?
Yes, short or long term, in our climate-controlled, secure warehouse.
Are my belongings protected during the move?
Yes. Every move includes valuation coverage for your belongings. The terms are set out in your quote.
Do you move pianos or oversized items around Montreal?
Yes. Our experienced movers are equipped to handle heavy and oversized items such as pianos, safes, gym equipment, and large furniture. We use the proper tools and techniques to ensure safe transport in Montreal and beyond.
How do I check a Montreal moving company?
Read its Google reviews, and ask for a written quote that lists what is included. Membership in the Canadian Association of Movers and a CAA-Québec recommendation are good signs. Check that it is registered with the Commission des transports du Québec (our licence is 1175823534).
